Reviews and Ratings
The Parador de Zamora is ideally located in the very city center of the charming town of Zamora. The rooms offer great views over the square but may have some issues with unpleasant odors. The staff is generally very helpful but can feel a bit rushed at times. The dining experience varies from brilliant to disappointing, with limited and unappealing selections at times.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a little tired but the musical treat outside our room in the plaza was grand and beautiful. It was not cleaned initially when given the keys, but we were subsequently upgraded in recompense.
Staying at this former duke's palace was an interesting experience. The rooms need some maintenance, and the temperature was a bit warm for my liking, but the historic ambiance was intriguing despite the darkness of the room.
The hotel offered a wonderful view overlooking the swimming pool, with a large and comfortable room featuring great views over the square. The service was very helpful, although a bit cool at times. The location was beautiful but in need of improvements. The dining experience was a mix of stone-cold dishes and excellent value offerings. The facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
